• Futuro Próximo do Indicativo — near future, one of the most commonly used structures in the language.
• Pretérito Perfeito Simples do Indicativo — simple past.
• Pretérito Imperfeito do Indicativo — imperfect past.

The structures that connect the language

✔️ Mastery of the most important prepositions and linking words.

✔️ Artigos definidos e indefinidos — definite and indefinite articles, one of the most important and distinctive areas of Portuguese.

✔️ An in-depth understanding of the language’s grammatical persons and the nuances that are particularly characteristic of European Portuguese.

✔️ The main irregular verbs in the tenses studied throughout the course.

Pronouns and reflexive verbs

✔️ Impersonal structures in Portuguese — one of the most important mechanisms for understanding how the language truly works.

At many institutions, this topic is introduced only at more advanced stages, sometimes around level B1 or above. Here, it is explained clearly, logically and accessibly in the very first course.
